The Putnams Organic Buckwheat Hull Pillow offers a natural alternative for your sleep needs. Made with 100% organic buckwheat husks and a 100% cotton, undyed, unbleached cover, this pillow is designed to be as natural as possible. It includes one internal cover to hold the organic hulls and one external cover that can be easily removed and washed.

Additional Information:

• We recommend adjusting the hulls to your preference and storing the extras for future use. Note that buckwheat pillows are inherently firm.
• Buckwheat hulls are easy to shape for customized support each night. They are naturally hypoallergenic and cooler than standard foam pillows.
• While the covers can be washed, the buckwheat hulls cannot. To clean the hulls, lay them out in the sun or freeze them in a sealed bag for 24 hours.

Please note: This pillow, made from organic materials, may have a "wood-like" aroma, which is normal. It is also louder to sleep on compared to standard pillows, often described as sounding like ocean waves. We recommend using this pillow with your standard pillowcase on top.
